What are some interesting topics about World War 2 to write a paper on?
Anything during World War 2. It’s for a final project, and we spent most of the semester talking about battles and machinery and government, so I’m hoping to write a paper on something more about civilian life-are there any interesting topics to write about?
The paper is expected to be 5-6 papers with several sources, so it’d be great if you listed a few resources

Adolf Hitler is always an interesting topic to write about! He has his own novel (“Mein Kampft” ['My Struggles']). Note: he was very anti-social<-- you can really get into how he led a country and trusted no one.
Also, you could talk about Stalingrad where many Russians died [over a million!] if you are going to focus on civilian lives. Maybe even how the U.S. had to prepare for war during the Great Depression...
